Lighted Ball Workshop Report November 2015

Thanks EVERYONE.
After workshop photo.

Yesterday we calculated that folks built and sent 360 new
Lighted Christmas Balls
into the city of Greensboro and beyond.

Today Elaine and Roger boxed up 852 pounds of food for two local food pantries compared with last year's 796 pounds from the party.

Thanks to Natty Greene's for free beer all afternoon!
Thanks to Yellow Dog Designs and Jackson Dempsey
for great puppy gifts & for donating all the proceeds to 2nd Harvest.
Thanks to Skip and Sarah Purcell for the best BBQ anyone has ever had.
Thanks to Gardner Sheffield for music and the best vegetarian chili on the planet.
Heartfelt thanks to the hosts of this party. They made work seem like play and turned strangers into friends.

Thanks to all of you who came and
for those of you who brought great side dishes for the dinner.

We will let you know when the Today show piece airs.

From the party we collected $2825
for Second Harvest compared to $580 last year and
$5692 to GSO Urban Ministry
compared to $5280 last year.
That's amazing!
